Proper prep and aftercare make all the difference in how your spray tan looks and lasts. We’ve broken it down into simple steps so you feel confident, comfortable, and radiant every time.
How to Get Ready for Your Spray Tan
Help your tan go on smoothly and last longer:

Exfoliate and shave your skin the day before your appointment—not on the same day.

Don't use bar soaps (like Dove) or oily scrubs.

Stop using retinols or exfoliating acids at least 5 days before.

Stay hydrated and moisturize in the days leading up.

Get any waxing done 2–3 days in advance.

Don’t tan over peeling or sunburned skin — it can cause uneven results.
If you’re using Accutane or Retinoids, or had a recent sunburn, your skin may be extra sensitive and prone to peeling. Let us know before your appointment if you’re on any skin medications.
