Frequently asked questions about all of our most popular services!

WAXING

These are the most common questions we get about waxing, but if you would like more info, don't hesitate to contact us!

Q: how long does the hair need to be?

A: For body waxing, at least 1/4in. Stop shaving for 2 weeks before your appointment to ensure the hair will be long enough.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: While waxing isn't entirely painless, we are highly trained in our craft to provide the most comfortable waxing experience for you. Although everyone's pain tolerance is different, every new client tells us it wasn't as bad as they were anticipating it to be.

Q: How long does waxing last?

A: While hair growth is different for everyone, with body waxing you'll want to stay on a schedule of every 4-6 weeks. Hair growth will slow over time with consistent waxing. Facial waxing varies, but we recommend starting with every 4 weeks.

Q: How can I prepare?

A: Make sure you're keeping your skin hydrated as well as drinking plenty of water. Exfoliate 48 hours before your wax, and stop any topical retinols or acne meds 5-7 days prior for any facial waxing. Avoid caffeine and alcohol the day of your wax as they can make you more sensitive. Wear comfy clothes and cotton underwear to your appointment. For brows- no tweezing or trimming prior to and in-between appointments! Leave it to the pros.

SPRAY TANS

Q: What do I wear after my spray tan appointment?

A: All black or dark loose baggy clothing. Nothing that cuts into you like socks or bras. Flip flops are best to avoid putting sneakers or boots on. Leave the jewelry at home.

Q; Do I have to be naked?

A: No! Men are required to wear underwear, women can wear what they choose. We have disposable thongs and nipple pasties (perfect for breastfeeding!), but you can wear a bathing suit or underwear if you choose not to go naked!

Q: When do I rinse?

A: It depends on the solution we spray you with. Rapids can range from 2-6 hours and regular solutions range from 8-12 hours.

Q: Will I be orange?

A: Plain & Simple, NO! The only ways for that to happen would be using the wrong solution for your skin tone, or over processing and rinsing way too late. We're professionals and would never let this happen to you!

Q: How long will it last?

A: With proper prep and aftercare, 7-10 days.
